Patrick Linehan has been helping people transform their bodies in appearance, health and physical ability for over 10 years. He prides himself as someone who doesn't follow the mainstream "gurus" just for the sake of "fitting in" but also doesn't give awkward and conflicting advice just for the sake of being controversial either…like so many of the so-called "gurus" today. In his own words, "I'm not here to tell you what you want to hear. I'm here to tell you the truth."

As Patrick's athletic career expanded throughout high school and college, so did his excellence and extraordinary performance. So much so that teammates began to ask Patrick how he was able to excel in so many areas. They couldn't understand how he was able to do perform so well and have a phenomenal physique with seemingly the same training as everyone else. Every sport he participated in had their mandatory practices and weight training time slots and they all did pretty much the same exercises and had the same pre and post game meals. Patrick has always been on the quiet side so boasting, bragging or talking about his personal life was never at the top of his priority list. But after the prodding of his peers, what Patrick began to share was his "behind-the-scenes" training and nutrition. What his teammates and coaches didn't see was his dedication to work hard and eat right in every aspect of his life. He began to share some of the secrets he had learned from studying and investigating the great athletes of all time. Patrick was never one to be satisfied or complacent with his current achievements and was always looking for ways to learn more and further his abilities. Unfortunately a serious back and leg injury during a basketball practice had Patrick sidelined for what turned out to be a very important season. But Patrick continued to push forward.

Patrick has been an athlete all his life. And all of his life he has excelled in the athletic arena. Everything from scoring 7 goals in one soccer game to being a stand-out in all the major sports, Patrick was even named to the All-Star team in basketball, football and baseball…in the same year! But Patrick wasn't all brawn - he was a standout student as well. Throughout high school and college, Patrick understood the importance of using his mind and expanding his education. In high school he was even featured in one of the world-renowned publications of "Who's Who…". His excellence in academic and athletic performance got him recognized in "Who's Who Among American High School Students" for a phenomenal year in the classroom and on the basketball court.
While injured, Patrick used that time to learn even more about fitness and nutrition by both expanding his education and his experiences. He flooded his mind with various courses and training, but he strongly believed that it would take more than just degrees alone to truly learn the human body and be able to help people to the extent that he envisioned. As he continued his studies, he also spent a lot of time with team trainers and physical therapists. Not only to rehab his own injury, but to help fellow teammates and to soak up the knowledge and experience. Requests from more and more athletes began to flood in. He helped train other athletes both with workout routines and nutrition plans. However Patrick began to learn that the training and nutrition plans were beginning to lose their "punch". As his "client base" expanded the progress of his students began to slow down and for some, it didn't work at all. Over the next few years, Patrick spent countless time adjusting the training and nutrition plans of his clients. He was determined to get the results he had promised, not only to his clients but to himself. It was during this time that Patrick's current motto that "Everybody is different. YOUR body is different" began to take shape. While working with so many different people from so many different backgrounds and body types - from 6'5" 265 lb football linemen to 6ft 170 lb basketball point guards, to the most petite of women - Patrick continued to fine tune his strategies as it became more and more evident to him the vast differences of needs each person really has.

This education that Patrick spoke of has been a foundation in his business practices. Whereas others in the industry give bits and pieces of information to keep you "on the hook" as he would say, Patrick wants to educate his clients by giving them ALL the tools they need to transform their bodies and keep those results for life. In fact, he has trademarked the slogan "Get Results Faster. Keep Them For Life!"
Since Patrick has expanded his business to the internet his goal has been to provide the same level or personal attention to his clients. His first article published on a worldwide magazine website immediately earned him "Expert Author" status and he is already taking his "real world" reputation of THEE Nutrition Expert, to the online world. His programs are designed to give you all the tools you need to reach your fitness goals. He also offers true personal one-on-one coaching in a very special and unique way that is the first of its kind in the industry. And to date, his formula for creating customized nutrition plans is patent pending and has a 100% success rate since 2006. And his arsenals of workout routines address the needs of people of all fitness levels. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or have never exercised a day in your life, at Fully Functional Fitness Patrick has an exercise routine guaranteed to challenge you and take you to the next level of fitness. There is no other diet or fitness program on the internet that can honestly or realistically claim those results. Period.

As Patrick's reputation grew, parents, friends and siblings of these athletes began to come to Patrick for advice along with his own friends, coworkers and acquaintances. He began to expand his nutrition counseling and training outside of the athletic world and into the mainstream public arena, and he did so solely on a personal, one-on-one, hand picked basis, as he had a separate full time career. When addressing people's needs and desires he quickly realized that most of the "gurus" out there have it dead wrong. Even the ones that say "everyone else is dead wrong"…are usually DEAD WRONG! Whether it's the "slow cardio versus high intensity interval training" debate or the "lift this way to build muscle and that way to tone muscle" myth, Patrick has been determined to educate his clients on the truth of these matters. And the truth he says is that "they're all right….and they're ALL wrong!" Patrick gave this explanation in an interview:

Patrick went on to say, "…sure there are some basic principals of nutrition and exercise that can be applied across the board, but people don't want those generalizations. They already know those. Eat more vegetables, exercise and get your heart rate up, eat less junk and boxed processed foods, etc. My goal is not to give generalizations and get people SOME results. The truth is, you can try any one of the THOUSANDS of diets or workout routines on the market and possibly get SOME results. But when you go back to eating normal or when you're done with that workout routine you can say "bye-bye" to those results as well as your time and money while saying "hello" to added weight and discouragement. Which is why I don't call my eating plan a "diet"? The word "diet" refers to a temporary plan with temporary results. I create nutrition plans. Which is why I coined the phrase "Eat Real Food. Get Real Results." I don't want to get people SOME results, I want to get them EXTREME results and educate them in the process."

"There is so much generalization in the world of fitness and nutrition. Some say you HAVE TO do this while others say you HAVE TO do that in order to burn fat or build muscle or whatever the topic might be. But they are saying this on TV or online where thousands upon thousands of people are listening. It's just ridiculous to give a general statement like that to the masses in order for self promotion so that people will think you have all the answers. It's a selfish, money hungry, easy-way-out mentality. They don't even care that whatever advice they're giving is a COMPLETE and TOTAL lie to at least 80% of people out there. The 5'2" 130 pound woman that wants to lose 10 pounds shouldn't eat OR work out the same as the 6'3" 250 pound man who wants to lose 30 pounds. And BOTH of those people as well as a lot of others are all hearing this generalized advice and acting on it. And most of America is no better off because of it. It's just ridiculous and irresponsible for these people to give such advice."
